Janssen Global Services, L.L.C. Neurosciences Therapeutic Area, is recruiting for a Director, Global Market Access Leader, Neuroscience, based in Titusville, NJ. Additional locations may include Raritan, NJ; Spring House, PA; Horsham, PA; or in Europe: Beerse, Belgium; Brussels, Belgium; or High Wycombe, UK.

The Director, Global Market Access Leader, Neuroscience works in collaboration with Global Strategic Marketing, Research & Development, Global Medical Affairs and our Operating Companies around the globe to enable worldwide patient access to our healthcare innovations.


The vision of the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area is to “Reduce the Burden, Disability and Devastation caused by serious Neuropsychiatric Diseases and Pain Conditions”. We achieve this vision through the development of highly innovative drugs in our two commercial strongholds Schizophrenia and Pain, as well as our Disease Area Stronghold Alzheimer’s Disease and Mood Disorders. For all four focus areas we have late stage assets in development, some with “Breakthrough” and “Accelerate to Value” designation, which have enormous market potential. To continue our success we strive to be a leader in payer-oriented commercial solutions while maintaining the ideals of a patient-focused, socially responsible and commercially successful company. The Director, Global Market Access Leader, Neuroscience will be responsible for developing and supporting global health economics and market access tactical plans for assigned products. The individual will also provide health economics and reimbursement assessment support for relevant new business development opportunities. She/he will design, develop, and source tools and economic instruments that can be adapted for coordinated delivery to key decision makers. She/he will also collaborate with the Global Medical Affairs team, the Patient Reported Outcomes Group, Epidemiology and the GCSO-Hub (Center of Excellence) as well as external partners on outcomes studies, which embrace the principals of the Real World Evidence concept. The development of differentiated access and reimbursement strategies for HTA markets, “self-pay” and Global Public Health settings is important.


The Director, Global Market Access Leader, Neuroscience will be part of Compound Development Teams and ensure appropriate clinical trial data collection required for HTA/reimbursement and pricing submissions. She/he will also collaborate on assigned global policy activities. The person must also be able to efficiently plan and mange product and project level budgets and timelines.


Qualifications


A qualified candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in the appropriate field (Science, Epidemiology, Health Economics, or Public Health). Advanced degrees such as MD, PharmD, PhD preferred. A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry work experience in Health Economics and Outcomes Research is required. A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization and drug development process is also required. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with superior communication and leadership skills, demonstrated within a matrix environment. Comprehensive understanding of global reimbursement environment and experience with developing and submission of Reimbursement & Pricing dossiers to government and private HTA and payer authorities in key countries are required. Neuroscience related experience is preferred but not essential. Appreciation and understanding of policy implications on patient access to innovative medical technologies are helpful. This position is based in Raritan (with a potential to be located in Titusville, NJ; Spring House, PA; Horsham, PA; or in Europe: Beerse, Belgium; Brussels, Belgium; or High Wycombe, UK., and will require up to 20% domestic and international travel.

Role:


Crisis Group is seeking a Human Resources Intern to volunteer fulltime in the HR unit at our


Brussels headquarters for a suggested period of six months, starting January 2015. This


position offers a unique opportunity for growth for individuals thinking about a career


in Human Resources or nonprofits/NGOs. Under the overall supervision of the HR Officer,


the intern will provide general support for day-to-day operational activities of the HR Unit


and assist with Crisis Group’s global internship program.


Responsibilities:


 Post internship and employment opportunities on internal and external sites;


 Assist with the recruitment and screening of interns across the organisation;


Act as the main point of contact for interns in all locations, including onboarding, contract


extensions and questions, and general support;


Assist with the preparation and maintenance of personnel files to meet compliance,


documentation, filing and audit requirements;


 Coordinate and oversee Intern briefings;


 Other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned by the HR team.


Requirements:


 In pursuit of, or recently completed, a University degree, preferably in a related field;


 Fluency in English required, other languages are considered a plus;


 Computer skills: MS Office, email and internet; HR information systems a plus;


 Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion;


 Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills;


Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, and work independently and
