Development Scientist – Agrochemicals

Working with a recently established organisation when it comes to the Crop Protection industry, this is an organisation focusing on the marketing side of products but that also is moving towards a broader area of focus and responsibility. As a result of a new department being set up, there is a major recruitment process across a variety of levels and across all EU Offices. This organisation has a long term commitment to growth and has achieved a significant amount having only been around for 40 years.

Our client is seeking a strong R&D professional who will understand the technical aspect of agrochemical product development and field trials. Given this position will work on analysing the data from field trials, you will utilise your technical expertise in understanding the data. Subsequently, your task will be to mentor other more junior staff and sharing your expertise.

As a Development Scientist within Crop Protection, you will have an operational role bring practical knowledge to the team.

Your task is to set up and follow up on field trials whilst coordinating the field trials through external providers.
In addition to analysing the data you will introduce new projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Educated to degree level preferably within a science discipline or agricultural related (agronomy etc).

Strong technical understanding of how field trials operate whilst displaying experience in a role analysing data from field trials and interpreting.

At least 4 years experience within this field of crop protection with sound knowledge.
