The SR Group (UK) Limited.: Legal Counsel (m/f)

Our client is a world leading company that is operating internationally.

They are currently recruiting an excellent lawyer to be based as a Legal Counsel in their Brussels office. The role has a very broad scope. You will be looking after a geographical region, probably including the Benelux, and advise the business on all legal issues that arise, e.g. drafting, negotiating and reviewing a broad variety of complex cross border commercial contracts, advising the business on risk related questions, corporate, compliance and also labour relations.

You will be an excellent lawyer, qualified in Brussels, the Netherlands or another European jurisdiction. You will have at least 4 years’ experience gained in a top level law firm or an in-house legal department. Apart from being an excellent corporate/commercial lawyer, you will also have some knowledge of Belgian labour law. You will have excellent business acumen and be a strong team player. You enjoy communicating with business people on all levels and have a can-do attitude.
