Business Analyst I - CIO Audit & Compliance - FIS - Brown Deer, WI





Conducts various types of

research, analysis, reporting, documentation, etc., in support of CIO audit and

compliance efforts. Assists management

to resolve business issues in an effective and productive manner.

General duties and


responsibilities:


analysis, reporting and metrics tracking

Coordination of

meetings, preparation of agendas and documentation of meeting minutes

Capture and track

risks, issues, action items, etc.

Capture status updates

and follow up with key stakeholders as required


and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or

project leader.


business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and

support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness

and efficiency.


data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.


practices and suggests how to improve current practices.


recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.


documents business processes and metrics, and identifies improvement

opportunities.


employees on changes to business practices, processes or procedures.


projects upon request and on occasion.


and/or guidance to less experienced Business Analysts.


related duties as required.


Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business

Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related

discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience that is

required for the specific job level.


General knowledge, skills and


abilities:


products and services


business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS

segment, division, group or line of business


financial services industry


  • High level of proficiency

in Excel Spreadsheet SW required.


standard office software, such as MS Office, Visio, MS Access, etc.


  • Proficiency in industry-standard

process methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, CMM, etc.)


written communication skills to audiences of various levels in the organization

(e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)


relevant knowledge and expertise to other resources


analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, customer

service, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills


and influence others on the best approach to take


work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is

successfully completed


proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas


Entry level role. Basic

skills with moderate level of proficiency. Has general understanding of

principles in business analysis and process modeling. Generally performs

single-function tasks that tend to be of small to moderate size and scope.

Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent

judgment. Consults with senior peers on non-complex projects to learn through

experience. Typically requires up to three years of business analysis

experience.
