Data Entry Specialist (Long-Term Part Time) - Kohler, WI - Kohler Co.  - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Under the general direction of the Supervisor-Kohler Konnect, the Data Entry Specialist will complete HR transactional updates globally. In addition, the Data Entry Specialist will respond to customer inquiries.


The Data Entry Specialist will:
Become a subject matter expert on specialized complex workflow events (i.e., new hires, terminations, retirements, and job changes) and inputting associate data in the Human Resource Information System. Become a proficient user of Kohler Konnect’s systems and software applications and stay current on new and changing procedures, practices, and technology.

Process specialty work by using problem solving skills to accomplish challenging goals and objectives.

Follow established processes by taking appropriate action, communicating with Human Resources, and following up for timely resolution.

Provide excellent customer service by answering questions from associates, retirees, and internal/external customers by phone. Document customer inquiries in the case management system.

Process a variety of tasks for HR Center of Excellence transactional work and become a subject matter expert in those specific functions. In addition, gain working knowledge of other internal Center of Excellence teams within Kohler Konnect.

Continually seek to look for process improvement solutions.


Additional challenges and responsibilities:
Accept the changing strategies, philosophies, and initiatives of Kohler Human Resources.

Understand the complexity of Kohler’s diverse environment (i.e., workforce, locations, organization, and benefit plans).

Assist customers through systems and process changes.

Anticipate HR partner needs and provide appropriate resources to meet them.

Multi-task your variety of responsibilities to meet Human Resource partner expectations and ensure that deadlines and metrics are met. Work effectively under pressure and maintain quality work despite pressing deadlines.

Respond to increasing Human Resource partner volume and case complexity.

Consistently produce accurate, thorough, and professional work.

Work independently to find solutions and answers with some assistance.

Accept setbacks and maintain flexibility when goals and priorities shift.

Skills/Requirements


Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma with prior work experience in a human resources, customer service, or data-entry environment is required.

Strong computer proficiency, with a firm grasp on MS Office tools and the tech savvy to quickly learn and master new software programs.

The ability to read and enter data with a high degree of accuracy, as well as efficiency, in a fast paced Windows/SAP computer environment.

Must be a team player with good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.


Additional skills sought include:
Ability to communicate in Portuguese is strongly preferred.

Associates Degree or higher is strongly preferred.

Prior experience in processing data

Prior experience or interest in working in a Human Resources environment

Strong ability to build rapport over email or the phone with a diverse audience.
