Overview of Position
The Customer Relations Specialist/Inside Sales position is responsible for providing the best possible customer satisfaction to the organization’s customers by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems, processing orders, preparing services orders, tracking bids, and resolving billing issues, all in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties and Job Responsibilities


  • Develops thorough understanding of company products and knowledge of order process.

  • Answers incoming customer telephone calls, mostly for the specific region in which the CSR is assigned to; provides support to the sales team as needed.

  • Provides accurate and timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers and technicians. Coordinate the dispatching of sub-contractors to customer facilities for surveys, installations, and repairs.

  • Provides quotes for potential orders, processes new orders, checks status of existing orders.

  • Addresses and resolves customer/sub-contractor inquiries, problems, and complaints regarding products, service, billing, applications, etc.

  • Creates and maintains customer files, records, documents, etc.

  • Enters all required information into the appropriate databases/applications, creates and maintains the customer database, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepares documents, letters, correspondence, etc. as needed.

  • Acts as a back-up for the Receptionist when needed.

  • Communicates efficiently and professionally, in both written and verbal form.

  • Completes special projects as assigned.

  • Uses basic computer software such as spreadsheets, databases, word processing applications, email, Internet, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate degree is preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing customer service environment required

  • Construction contract management experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time


Salary: $15.00 /hour
