SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the production line has all of the necessary component materials and equipment to accomplish the orders at hand in a timely manner. The position requires knowledge of scanning procedures, identifying materials, equipment requirements, equipment operation, and planning skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Follows all GMP’s as required by the plant.


Follows all safety regulations and requirements, including proper PPE.


Immediately reports accidents, injuries, and any equipment that is in need of repair.


Reads and understands production orders to verify all product information is correct.


Verifies that adequate raw materials and supplies are available to meet line production needs, notifies appropriate personnel about anything that is short or cannot be located.


Accurately completes required paperwork and data entry for quality and production checks.


Visually checks raw product for foreign objects.


Visually inspects equipment, tables, floors, etc., to ensure GMP standards are met.


Accurately measures or weighs raw materials to ensure proper blends according to production order.


Prepares bulk cheese according to production order such as: unboxing, decasing, removing plastic wrap, etc.


Safely operates, assembles, and disassembles all equipment such as: harps, grinders, cutters, blenders, Urschels, etc. involved in reducing bulk materials according to production order specifications.


Monitors and replaces harp/die wires as needed.


Properly places trim, further processing, and inedible product in the appropriate containers.


Properly moves/lifts pallets; uses 2-person lift technique when appropriate.


Accurately scans warehouse managed items and promptly reports known scanning errors.


Reads and understands production orders to verify all product information is correct.


Maintains, loads, and monitors packing equipment to include minor adjustments and coordinates set up and placement of equipment such as: auto case packer, tape machines, printers, conveyors, etc,


Verifies correct label information.


Loads and stacks completed packages or containers to pallets according to proper loading or stacking patterns as required.


Ensures that product samples are taken and labeled according to specifications.


Accurately completes required paperwork and data entry for quality and production clerks.


Inspects and packs product to ensure product and package quality meets customer expectations.


Properly handles and operates RF gun scanners and replaces batteries when needed.


Safely operates industrial power equipment.


Performs Sanitation responsibilities as needed on your shift which requires the use of cleaning chemicals and specialized cleaning equipment to remove debris from machines, equipment, conveyors, floors, walls, tables, etc.


Assists others in Prep area, Pack area, and Sanitation activities.


Assures that quality and quantity of work produced is acceptable to company standards.


Follows Sargento Code of Business and Personal Ethics.


Trains individuals as assigned.


Maintains work area in a clean and orderly fashion.


Regular attendance at work is critical to meet customer needs and efficiently product quality products.


All other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLIITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


Must be at least 18 years old.


High School Diploma or equivalent is required.


National Career Readiness Certificate required.


Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.


Must be able to work in wet environment for Sanitation.


Ability to work in a team environment.


Must be committed to high standards of quality.


Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred. Manufacturing experience or food handling experience a plus.

Responsibilities:
Primary Purpose

Acts as the first point of contact for patients by providing outpatient department and/or clinic reception. Greets and registers the patient, completes all necessary forms, obtains demographic and insurance information, collects co-payment, posts payments, and adds or updates basic patient account information. Schedules new and follow-up patient appointments.


Major Responsibilities

Greets patients and visitors and responds to routine requests for information. Answers telephone, screens calls, and takes messages.

Registers patients; obtains demographic and insurance information; verifies insurance coverage, collects co-pays, deductibles, and previous balances; posts payments and updates demographic and insurance information.

Schedules patient appointments and coordinates cancellations, reschedules, and additions to schedules. Provides accurate, detailed information regarding test preparations, time patient to arrive, and any other directional information needed by patient.

Updates insurance, financial responsibility and other data when changes or additions occur, and communicates to patient as appropriate.

Ensures insurance and patient information obtained is complete and accurate, applying acquired knowledge of government and third party payor requirements.

Identifies, reports, and resolves problems regarding registration to appropriate individuals and departments.

Monitors patient flow to ensure they are cared for in the most efficient and courteous manner. Offers various assistance to patients to include: arranging transportation needs, providing directions, locating wheelchair, etc.

Performs visit closure including checking out patients after visit, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing patients with a visit summary.

May file, retrieve, and/or deliver patient information and/or records, and completes required forms/documentation.

  • Process credit and debit memos to customer accounts for all non-inventory adjustments, including price adjustments and loyalty program balance transfers.

Global Affairs and Partnerships (GAP)


Search’s Global Affairs and Partnerships team, of which our European Affairs and Partnerships (EAP) team is a part, is a dynamic team, combining our field-based expertise with policy and fundraising expertise. Our EAP’s core purpose is to raise and develop Search as a thought-leader in Europe and drive transformational change in the peacebuilding sector, driving more resources towards our field in general, and Search in particular.


Responsibilities


  1. Support on fundraising/donor relations with European bilateral donors:

1) Coordinate Global Calls from European bilateral donors and writing proposals when required;


2) Be the focal point for the UK CSSF: daily monitoring of opportunities, disseminating opportunities to country teams, lead partnership meetings and calls, attend Supplier events when appropriate;


3) Support Country teams on technical requests for European bilateral donors;


4) Oversee and disseminate European funding opportunities from bilateral donors;


5) Research donor intel for bilateral donors;


6) Support EVP on bilateral donor relations, through meeting briefs, donor background and funding intel;


7) Build and develop partnerships with NGOs, contractors for funding collaboration;


8) Contribute content to the Global Fundraising page, on European bilateral donor information;


9) Organize donor meetings for international staff for European capitals;


10) Participate in the Fundraising Forum;


11) Represent Search at relevant events; and


12) Participate in BOND calls and meetings for donor and policy intel.


  1. Other tasks:

1) Conduct daily cash collections, liaising with Country teams to get cash in from donors;


2) Support the EAP Manager for event organization in Brussels;


3) Support the EAP Manager on policy and advocacy, participating in BOND, reviewing internal thematic capacity statements and supporting email blasts for advocacy;


4) Manage the Brussels Support Page, coordinating administrative documentation with the Administrative Associate;


5) Participate in the Communicating for Results working group;


6) Supervise the European Affairs & Partnerships Intern for the following tasks:


7) Provide donor intel and background research on the EU and key European bilateral donors;


8) Regularly update EU and European Bilateral information/contacts on the organization’s internal system;


9) Initiate and update the European foundation database to support our field staff’s fundraising efforts; and


10) Participate in and contribute to regular team meetings with our Global Affairs and Partnerships team based in Washington, DC.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Conflict Studies, Development, or related area – Master’s Degree preferred, but not required;

  • Two (2) years of work experience in the international development or conflict resolution field;

  • Written and spoken fluency in English;

  • Experience writing successful proposals;

  • Proficiency in second language (French preferred); and

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.)

Summary of Position: The Volunteer Coordinator position manages all elements of volunteering at Above & Beyond. The role involves assessing and meeting our organization’s needs through recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers at the museum. This is an entry-level volunteer coordinator position.
