Machine Operator - Ci-Dell Plastics, Inc. - Mequon, WI

Temp-to-Hire Position

• Work through staffing agency.


• Reviewed at 90 days on performance and attendance.


• Reviewed at 1 year on overall performance and attendance.


• Results of 1 year review will determine if company will be hiring you on.

Shifts Available

• 3rd shift: 11 pm – 7 am (added shift premium)

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic molding machines to make parts or products.


• Position and secure inserts and work pieces on machine.


• Removes finished products from machines using hand tools, hands or other equipment.


• Clean, inspect and maintain injection mold and machine as required.


• File, debur, grind or polish objects.


• Observe operations of machine to eliminate production of defective parts and products.


• Ability to visually inspect and sort parts to a pre-determined quality level, watching for flaws.


• Trim parts as needed or other finishing work on pieces.


• Maintain a clean and neat workspace and help with other duties, as needed.


• Ability to perform repetitive short or long cycle operations.


• Ability to meet production standards and rates.


• Perform Secondary Operations or other duties as assigned.


• Maintain CDP and customer quality standards.


• Relieve other operators for breaks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED desired.


• Minimum of 1 year recent working experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Injection molding and previous experience in plastic manufacturing is a PLUS.


• Ability to carry out simple instructions, as well as use basic hand tools and fixed gauges.


• Good hand/eye coordination.
