Temp-to-Hire Position

• Work through staffing agency.


• Reviewed at 90 days on performance and attendance.


• Reviewed at 1 year on overall performance and attendance.


• Results of 1 year review will determine if company will be hiring you on.

Shift Available

• 1st shift: 7 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of all set-up procedures and all molding machine and secondary operation functions.


• Set-up, starts and troubleshoots presses using established process control methods.


• Monitor press cycle to ensure presses are running to standards.


• Observe machine operations to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary.


• Assist Operators when they encounter issues in the running machinery.


• Modify existing robot programs to handle parts without causing damage to the equipment or parts. Program machines for operators; creating new programs as needed.


• Ensure machines are running at peak efficiency, rate and quality throughout the shift


• Clean, inspect and maintain injection mold and machine as required


• Work as part of a team to minimize downtime and increase production.


• Perform periodic inspection rounds when needed.


• Assist lead person with training of new personnel on proper job procedures, quality requirements and safety procedures.

Requirements

• 2 year technical degree/ tech certification in related field, or 4 years of related experience. Experience with plastics injection molding required.


• Thorough knowledge of drawings, parts lists, engineering orders, diagrams, schematics and shop orders are required.


• Electrical experience preferred for basic maintenance of machinery.


• Must be safety conscience and a team player and self starter


• Must have strong mechanical and math skills.


• Ability to communicate effectively among shift personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 /hour
