Qualifications:

What You Bring To The Job:

Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures(SSOP’s) preferred

Sanitation experience preferred

Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to work at heights that are above ground level

Strong written and verbal communication skills required

Strong math background is required

Must be dependable, honest and proactive

Must be able to identify Critical Control Points(CCPs) in area of responsibility and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Must be able to become certified in chemical usage

Must be detail oriented

Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Must be able to obtain a forklift and Will Lift license and learn the safe operation of electric pallet movers

Willing to work in cold and wet conditions

High School Diploma or equivalent required

National Career Readiness Certificate required

External Candidates Only: Ability to pass a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen, physical and background check.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare production equipment for cleaning by locking out machinery and covering all electrical equipment with plastic

Use of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals

Rinse, foam, scrub, rinse and sanitize production equipment ensuring that all areas meet Johnsonville’s and USDA’s standards of acceptability

Conduct environmental and bioluminescence swabbing

Wipe Condensation

Must be able to complete sanitation documentation paperwork accurately

Hours: 1:45PM-10:15PM. Overtime as production demands.
