Senior Store Representative - Serv-U-Success - Grafton, WI





The position is a top merchandising and service project performer, capable of stepping in in the absence of the Store Manager. This position demonstrates thorough knowledge of all categories / tasks and is very organized and proficient in their execution of merchandising and service duties. Because of this ability, the position helps mentor and train his/her less experienced associates, and demonstrates, by example, efficient and effective work habits. The Rep may be assigned to one or multiple stores.

Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate a high level of merchandising skills, across all categories, both shelf & off shelf displays

  • Function as Store Manager in his/her absence, assuring proper staffing and prioritization of work needing completion

  • Ability to quickly assess current store status, including shelf condition, holes, signage, and assist in deploying resources

  • Help train new Reps / cross train Reps in the “Serv-U Way”, operating best practices, technology and skills relative to their assignment

  • Help “Coach” new Reps, “show them the ropes” and smooth onboarding for the Rep & Serv-U

  • Assist in the scheduling of resources to support daily requirements and to maintain flexibility within planned budgets

  • Help maintain a clean, orderly & efficient Backroom, performing the receipt, put-away and issue of product and service materials, along with determining accurate BOH

  • Able to write accurate orders, balancing high percentage MDQ (Minimum Display Quantity) with appropriate inventory levels

  • Actively participate in the development of improved training, processes, and new service ramp up – a problem solver

  • Ability to interact with Store management, develop positive relationships to ensure quality/timeliness of work

  • May be assigned other responsibilities and projects

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED. Additional education a plus

  • 2 – 5 years in a service industry, with some supervisory or leadership experience preferred

  • Results oriented

  • Organized & methodical

  • Enjoy learning and change

  • Desire to work in a team oriented environment, with respect for all team members

  • Utilize technology – primarily personal devices (smartphones, tablets, PC’s)

  • Good writing and communication skills

  • Ability to read and follow directions accurately
