Global Packaging Engineer




AB-Inbev is the world’s largest brewer operating in 25 countries with sales in over 100 countries worldwide. They house over 200 beer brands including some of the world’s most popular such as Stella Artois, Budweiser and Corona that together contribute to the company’s revenue that exceeds $47billion.


Due to internal changes they are now looking for a Global Packaging Engineer to join their vibrant team in Belgium. This person will be responsible for the management of the development and implementation of projects at zone level.

Within this role they are looking for someone who has the skills and capabilities to:


  • Act as a project team leader with cross functional teams on international projects

  • Lead the technical development of several projects with high complexity and broad scope

  • Identify technical, managerial and interpersonal problems within the project and determine and implement the most viable solutions to these problems

  • Constantly build up technical expertise while deploying the acquired knowledge within the organisation

  • Identify best internal and external practices and implement these cross functionally to maximise company benefit

The successful candidate will need to have around 5-8 years’ experience in relevant packaging operations with a degree in a science or packaging qualification. Experience working with metal is vital and relevant brewing experience would be ideal. You will be need to able to proactively manage multiple projects with experience to demonstrate strong leadership skills being key. Fluency in English is vital for this role. The successful candidate will need to be passionate about the role and organisation and be prepared to go the extra mile.
