We are currently working with the Belgian office of a leading international firm. They are ideally looking for someone to join their busy Competition team.

BACKGROUND: The competition offering of this firm is highly regarded for its expertise in global merger control, behavioural commitments and cross-border cartel matters. They are an established name in the market and boast a number of highly regarded Lawyers amongst their ranks. The team itself is made up of a number of European and international Lawyers making it both a diverse and social place to work.

ROLE: this role will be broad and cover an extensive mix of competition work including global merger control, behavioural commitments and cross-border cartel matters. The ideal candidate will have had varied competition experience and come from a top tier UK or international firm. Training and career development are valued by the firm and all Lawyers are encouraged to build strong relationships within the firm’s international network and with its clients. You will be involved in drafting and negotiating the key transaction documents governed by Law of England & Wales alongside your French colleagues.

CANDIDATE: There are a number of roles available with this firm so the pqe level may vary depending on each individual experience/skill set. NQ and 7 years’ post-qualification experience are welcome to apply. The main language in the office and of the work is English but any additional language is welcome and ideal.
