In House Legal Counsel –  Construction – Global Business – Belgium  

Our client is a global force in the construction and manufacturing industry with over 100,000 staff operating across all geomarkets.

A new, exciting opportunity exists for a talented construction or I.T projects lawyer to join their team in Belgium – this is a permanent role to start asap.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and review tenders / contracts and support negotiations



• Handle multi-partner projects



• Prepare template agreements and T&Cs



• Support HR with employment matters



• Handle local corporate affairs



• Handle dispute resolution



• Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and group policies

For consideration, you must fulfill the following criteria:

• Qualified lawyer – Belgium



• Must be able to ‘hit the ground running’



• Fluent English with Dutch AND French – ALL MANDATORY



• 4 or more years’ relevant post qualification experience*



• Construction and / or IT projects experience offering solution based project services



• Must be confident and able to build lasting relationships with internal and external partners, commercially minded, highly organized and able to work effectively in teams
